Five years after moving into our custom home built by Falcon, we remain absolutely thrilled with both the home and the entire design/build process.
A few years ago, I transitioned into a career in construction management, and this experience has only deepened my appreciation for Falcon's exceptional approach. Their team kept us updated throughout and was always available to answer our questions. When we brought some ideas that were not feasible they took the time to explain why, understand our ultimate goal and came back with alternative suggestions that would meet our expectations.
Their organized approach minimized delays and our home was move-in ready ahead of schedule—finished product exceeding our expectations!!!

"The Falcon team was a pleasure to work with. Everything is thoughtfully streamlined to make the entire experience a breeze.
The beginning of the process was a discussion with design team, site managers, and heads of company. Practical expectations were set and design aspirations were sussed out. From there everything was then uploaded and managed through an easily accessible application on computer. This was very much appreciated, as it made reviewing designs and options super accessible at anytime day or night. Communication was spot on and we were able to reach the project manager with questions and concerns easily. Response time was prompt and we felt heard.

We worked with Falcon (Then Wirtanen) to build a custom home in 2021.
The folks at Wirtanen were a pleasure to work with (Especially Ross, Ryan, and Steven) throughout the process. Getting through any build process can be stressful and communication is key, and they excelled in this area.
We are now 3 years in we are still very happy with our home and are very appreciative of their ability to navigate some of the unique challenges this build presented. Overall it was a great experience, and if a truly custom home is what you are looking for I highly recommend making Falcon/Wirtanen one of your options.

From our design phase from out of state, to building during the height of COVID, Steven and his team made the process as painless as possible. We relied on him to take our ideas and turn them into results that made sense in Alaska.
Our project manager quickly addressed our change requests with the subs and kept us informed of the progress and any issues as they arose.
The attention to detail was top notch and their standards are quite often upgrades in other houses. Couldn’t be happier with who we chose to build our forever home.

"I can't speak highly enough of Falcon and their team! My wife and I started the custom home building process while we were still living in Germany. Steven and his crew always found time to talk to us and give us any information that we needed to start building our dream home.
During the build, they would update us almost daily with pictures and updates from their software program. If there were any changes that had to be made, they would always ask us what we wanted to do. They were always up-front with cost and pricing with everything. We didn't experience any delays whatsoever even with material shortages. They were also able to work through the winter months. After the home was finished, they were always available to answer any questions that we had about anything in the house.

Falcon Alaska was great to work with. We took a long time deciding who we wanted to build our home and could not be happier with our decision. At no time during the whole process did we ever feel they were too busy for us.

Falcon made the building process stress free. Every phase was carefully laid out and they met their estimated completion dates on each phase. There were no huge overage charges.
The one minor unforeseen cost received our approval before they proceeded. Aleks is an excellent project manager and is on the ball. Falcon changed my mind about having a home built.
They keep their word and do excellent work. The craftsmanship is superb. I love my new home and my husband is happy with his hangar.

They have been a great company to work with through the whole process and not as stressful as we thought it would be.
Even the contractors that they got asked questions, if we came in while they were working. Everyone wanted to make sure that it is the way we would like the home.
All follow-ups after it was built got addressed in a timely manner and had checkins if there wasn't anything said for a few months.

Our project was completed on time and on budget. We could not visit our project every day and sometimes not every week.
For a family working remotely with a GC, the Falcon process worked so well for so many reasons. Before they broke ground, we made the majority of the decisions with the guidance of their design team. The entire design and build process was honest and transparent.
Falcon built a beautiful home for us which we feel represents our family, our shared vision, and their craftsmanship. They really listened to us and then delivered on the plan.

"We recently discovered the paint was flaking off our front door, evidently due to an error when it was originally painted.
We contacted Falcon Alaska to see if the door was still under warranty as it had been six years since the house had been built. Because the door had been painted on-site it was no longer under warranty. However, we were told “…we would like to make sure you’re left with a solid product that will last for years to come” and they immediately contacted a painter to redo the door at no charge to us.
Falcon was under no obligation to repair a door that they had installed and painted six years ago but they treated it like it was installed yesterday. This company takes pride in their work and stands behind it."
